There is a section in the book 'Penguins stopped play' where he bowled at Harry Thompson, the author, I dont recall exactly what happened but Goughie spent most of the net trying to Knock Harry's head off and really gave him agoing over, just for the banter of it! I might have to read that agin thinking about it, made me laugh anyway! Probably the most likeable crickter ever from the wrong side of the Pennines!
