Sky’s speed guns

We’d say they gave readings about 3mph more than other cricket speed guns. That’s based on years of watching Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson and pretty much knowing their bowling speeds by now.

How should we react to this? We should all try and make the effort to be 3mph less impressed by the fast bowlers and 3mph less impressed by the batsmen facing them.

Cricketing worth is measured partly in mph and partly by how many people leave the bar when a player’s about to bat or bowl. This means Andrew Flintoff is a better player than Peter Such was.

We are still a bit mental about slow cookers but think we can get the meat to come out "stickier"

Not even Ravi Bopara believes he was bowling at 85mph today.

I’d always leave a bar to watch Peter Such bat; especially against Merv Hughes.

The best one I saw via cricinfos hawkeye was Flintoff bowling at 104.
Imagine what he could do if he was fit.
