Stephen Moore has a duff day

  • Losing a match is bad
  • Being out LBW is bad
  • Being out first ball is bad
  • Being out first ball of the innings is bad
  • Dislocating your shoulder in the outfield is bad

At least Stephen Moore can console himself with the fact that he’s not Giles Clarke.

"It’s not that I’m lazy - it’s that I just don’t care"

And that was one of Stephen Moore’s better days this season.

The other day TMS had the Minister for Sport on talking about broadcasting rights for The Ashes. He seemed to be talking a lot of sense until he said ‘Giles Clarke is a man of integrity and will do what is right for cricket.’

I almost through my wireless out of the window.

why is it bad to be out LBW? Admittedly it’s always bad to be out but surely LBW is better than bowled, handled the ball, obstructing the field and maybe stumped.

    Not for a batsman.

Batsmen NEVER think they’re out LBW.
