Here’s a short list of some of our ones to watch over the last couple of years:

What do you notice? That’s right. All of them have moved to Nottinghamshire since we identified them, albeit only on loan in Mark Davies’ case.

What’s going on? Are the Nottinghamshire management using King Cricket in some form of unofficial consultancy capacity? Don’t do that. We don’t support you. We support Lancashire.

That does it. Next year we’re going to name Ajit Agarkar as an excellent potential overseas signing. How d’you like them apples, Nottinghamshire? Eh? Eh? How d’you like that, we said? Yeah, we’re talking to you.

    Why would you support Lancashire,

    Don’t Cheshire have a team?

    Not so’s you’d notice.

Besides, we’re only two miles from Old Trafford. Cheshire play their matches much further away than that. We’re not sure where exactly. Possibly abroad.

yeah, but deep down you’re Cheshire through and through aren’t you?

Big detached house, live next to do a premiership footballer, trophy wife, shiny skin and white, white teeth.

Me I’m more…northern I suppose, you know, proper Lancashire.

i believe that the cheshire team is based in a little place called cheadle, this is a suburb of stockport, which in turn is not that far from old trafford, perhaps you don’t live as far away as you might think! i assume that i will see you at the one dayer next week…. look out for me, i will be wearing a tank top, and matching tanga briefs…..
