Oval cricket tickets

The Oval is hosting England v India fourth Test from Thursday August 18 and England v India 3rd ODI on Friday September 9.

The Oval Cricket Ground

The Oval Cricket Ground – also known as the Kennington Oval and The Brit Oval – is Surrey’s home ground. It is almost always the venue for the last Test of the summer and will typically host at least one ODI as well.

The capacity is currently around 23,500, but Surrey have announced plans to expand this by another 2,000. The Oval is significant in that the first Test cricket match in England took place here in 1880. Additionally, it was England’s defeat to Australia here in 1882 that led to the creation of the Ashes.
