The site is back and hopefully faster

The site has been offline for a day. We were moving it to new hosting. Thank you to Prince Stickball for his assistance in this. Hopefully the site will run a bit more quickly and reliably now.

Apologies to those of you who’ve been repeatedly checking the site for updates this week, only to be greeted by various web hosting company pages. To avoid this scenario in the future, why not subscribe to our daily email? It goes out after we’ve updated, so you never miss anything. We’ll never share our mailing list with anyone, so you’ll only receive articles from the site and you can unsubscribe whenever you like by clicking a link which appears at the bottom of every email.

Don’t think it means that you get out of leaving comments though. That’s a duty. We rely on the comments to keep us from having to read the cricket news.

Mike Gatting wasn't receiving the King Cricket email when he dropped that ludicrously easy chance against India in 1993.

Why risk it when it's so easy to sign up?

    1. Some of us were brought up on Daley Thompson’s Decathlon on the Spectrum. We can hammer keys with the best of them.

  1. What was wrong with whatever the situation was in the past? The past is (was?) better than the present BY DEFINITION (and don’t get me started on the future). This new thing is all wrong. It’s way too the same as before. No good will come of it, I tell you.

  2. Awwww! I was really enjoying those web hosting company pages.

Guess I’ll just have to go back to typing random URLs into my address bar and hoping I don’t hit a real website.

  3. I’ve been on a rather crazy week work-wise and missed the whole web-hosting-page-F5 business.

    My bad, I realise.

Do you want my 4 points back KC, you know the ones I worked so hard to gain last week?
