Twenty20 World Cup final, India v Pakistan

If the proper World Cup was pretty rubbish with lots of things going wrong, the Twenty20 World Cup has pretty much addressed each of these issues.

There’ve been crowds, excitement, few dead matches and they’ve even managed to get the final that all cricket tournaments want – India v Pakistan.

And it’s being played at Monday lunchtime, which is, er, maybe not when finals of major tournaments are usually played, but that’s okay.

DON'T BE LIKE GATT!

Mike Gatting wasn't receiving the King Cricket email when he dropped that ludicrously easy chance against India in 1993.

Coincidence?

Why risk it when it's so easy to sign up?

  1. Monday Lunch time here, but over in the the subcontinent it’s early evening. A nice way to get the week going no? That or a rubbish one, depending on who wins.

  2. it is ok gor you KC, writing the odd blog and watching the money roll in. Some of us have to WORK for a living,

An entertaining tournament indeed, although it served to leave me bewildered and rather suspicious towards the end over one particular issue. Are the good looks of your players inversely related to the results? Case in point: Compare KP’s constant shirt tugging and Broad’s cute noggin’ with Robin Uthappa’s mug appearing as if he were just released from cross examination.
