Ever played a cricket computer game?

You might get something out of our last Cricinfo post then.

We have something of a history of playing cricket computer games, but surely we can’t be the only person in the world who knows the value of having Graeme Hick and Graham Thorpe opening the bowling in a World Cup match.

DON'T BE LIKE GATT!

Mike Gatting wasn't receiving the King Cricket email when he dropped that ludicrously easy chance against India in 1993.

Coincidence?

Why risk it when it's so easy to sign up?

  1. Brilliant article. It needs to be left for a while to build up a few more comments, though. The ones it’s got are from people who seem to have actually read it and understood the point (except for the chap who says you’re mad for having NZ as favourites – I mean, what were you thinking).

  2. Ah, brings back fond memories of Graham Gooch’s World Class Cricket on the Amiga.

Suffering idiotic run-outs, then getting revenge by bowling the other side out for 0 with non-spinning slow bowlers. I always tried to play it properly, but almost inevitably got pissed off with it and ended up cheating.

  3. If you are going to take my brilliant opening bowling tactic… you could at least give me some credit!
