Rose Bowl cricket tickets

In 2011, the Rose Bowl is hosting England v Sri Lanka third Test from Thursday June 16 and England v India 2nd ODI on Tuesday September 6.

The Rose Bowl Cricket Ground

The Rose Bowl Cricket Ground is home to Hampshire. It is situated just outside Southampton and is one of the most recent county grounds, being built in 2001.

The capacity is flexible, dependent on how much temporary seating is brought in. The most it has held is 22,000 for an ODI between England and Pakistan, although the owners are planning on expanding the seating to accommodate 25,000.

The Rose Bowl has hosted the Twenty20 Cup final as well as the famous Twenty20 match prior to the 2005 Ashes, during which England mauled Australia in what was seen as a significant signal of intent from the home side.
